Gather the Tribe

We are gathering people together who are interested in cultivating connections, sharing local knowledge, protecting nature, and building capacity, to empower our community to work better together on local issues. This initiative is for everyone who feels part of, or wishes to connect better with the town and the community who live here.

To kick off the initiative, we invite you to gather together over a morning of short talks, a shared lunch, and conversations to stimulate and inspire our community. We will share stories that connect us to this place. We will share our local expertise and knowledge, to learn from each other. Whatever your interest, we all bring something to the table.

When

Saturday 24th June 2023, 10am - 1pm at the Solstice Arts Centre, Navan

Who's behind the gathering?

Independent members from the community together with Wild About Navan and Johnstown Tidy Towns. Supported by the Community Foundation for Ireland and The Heritage Keepers Programme, Burrenbeo Trust.

‘Heritage Keepers’ is a free programme for groups to enable them to work together to explore the built, natural, and cultural heritage of their local place and plan an action to enhance their place. WildAboutNavan and friends successfully applied for the programme and as a result brainstormed and created this event to Gather the Tribe.

This initiative is kindly supported by:

The Community Foundation for Ireland and Heritage Keepers.
